[Vlog] Expat Life & Covid19: What Mom Doesn’t Understand

Expats, digital nomads, immigrants, and anyone stationed overseas might as well live on another planet if someone we love falls victim to the Covid-19 pandemic. With mandatory quarantines, the sad fact is that if things turn fatal and their decline is quick, we would likely never see them again.

It’s important for everyone around the world to live cautiously right now … but the seriousness that those of us living abroad need for our family and friends to take their safety OVERLY serious …. well, for me at least, has felt under-appreciated this week.

At 21 I left uni, jumped into my Jeep Wrangler, and drove from my native California to live an adventure in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. I've explored 37 countries on 4 continents, residing in 8 of them (currently Indonesia's Riau Islands is my home). I even have a private pilot's license and was shot at once by bandits!
