[Vlog] Single Mom Diaries: Power of Travel (1st time I cry in a vlog)

From the time my daughter was a baby, we travelled. We had no disposable income for the first 10’ish years of her life but I would save up all year to afford to travel someplace exotic with her over Christmas and New Year. My baby isn’t a baby anymore, she’s 23 and recently started her first job in Tanzania (my proud mommy feathers are all fluffed up as you’ll see). In this vlog I properly cry for the 1st time in any of my videos, I share tips on how to save money for travel, and share why I think it’s so important for single moms.

For me, our travel adventures are some of the memories that still remain strongest from the time I had with my little birdie … before you flew the nest to begin her life’s own adventure.

At 21 I left uni, jumped into my Jeep Wrangler, and drove from my native California to live an adventure in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. I've explored 37 countries on 4 continents, residing in 8 of them (currently Indonesia's Riau Islands is my home). I even have a private pilot's license and was shot at once by bandits!
