[Vlog] Lesson on Expat Life in Kuala Lumpur

Today was fun.  Like crazy fun!  Not because it was epic or something truly special happened but because I was able to find joy in simple things again following 3 months of recovery after an accident that left with with a broken bone and dislocated knee.  It was wonderful to be out and properly vlog again for the first time since May of this year.  I live right downtown in Kuala Lumpur near the KLCC twin towers and you’ll see I don’t go far.  But it was enough of a taste of life to help me reflect on mistakes I’ve made as an expat in Malaysia and share some tips on how to not make the same mistake I have since calling KL my home.

In case you’re interested, this is the Intermark Mall where I rode an escalator, shopped for food, and vlogged for the first time in 3 months!

At 21 I left uni, jumped into my Jeep Wrangler, and drove from my native California to live an adventure in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. I've explored 37 countries on 4 continents, residing in 8 of them (currently Indonesia's Riau Islands is my home). I even have a private pilot's license and was shot at once by bandits!
